Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

Website functionality and third-party tracking

The website and connected services use cookies and similar technologies for shopping cart functionality, sessions, preferences, analytics, and advertising.

We use Google Analytics to understand website usage. We also use Google Ads and Meta advertising pixels to measure advertising and support advertising campaigns.

Depending on their configuration, these services may receive device and cookie identifiers, IP addresses, page URLs, browsing activity, and events such as product views or purchases.

Advertising providers may associate this information with information collected across other websites, apps, or their services. Such disclosures may qualify as a sale or sharing of personal information, or processing for targeted advertising, under certain privacy laws.

For information about Google's processing, see Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

For information about Meta's processing, see Meta's Privacy Policy.

06

Cookie and Advertising Choices

Available controls and browser signals

We do not currently provide an on-site cookie preference panel.

You can use your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Blocking certain cookies may affect shopping cart, account, or other website functions. Browser cookie controls do not necessarily prevent all tracking or information collection.

You can also manage advertising preferences through the controls provided by Google and Meta. These choices may be specific to a browser, device, or account.

[BEFORE PUBLICATION: describe the website's actual response to Do Not Track (DNT) and Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. Verify whether these signals disable or restrict relevant tracking. Do not state that the website honors them unless this has been implemented and tested.]

07

Virtual Try-On and Uploaded Photos

Optional AI-assisted jewelry previews

Virtual try-on is optional. If you use it, you choose to upload a photo so that an AI-assisted preview of the selected jewelry can be generated. You can browse and purchase products without using this feature.

Upload only photos that you are authorized to use. Do not upload identity documents or images containing unrelated sensitive information.

[BEFORE PUBLICATION: identify the AI processing provider and link to its applicable privacy terms. State which photos, generated images, and technical information are transmitted; where they are stored; the actual retention and deletion periods on both LeBijou's systems and the provider's systems; whether they may be used for model training; whether face geometry or other biometric information is extracted; and how users can request deletion.]

08

Data Retention

How retention periods are determined

Retention periods depend on the type of information and its purpose, including order fulfillment, customer service, returns, accounting requirements, security, and the resolution of disputes.

Deletion requests may be subject to legal obligations or other applicable exceptions. For example, certain transaction records may need to be retained for accounting or legal purposes.

Third-party providers apply their own retention rules where they process information independently. Photo retention for virtual try-on is described separately above.

09

Security and International Processing

Online services and cross-border orders

No website, storage system, or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. Please do not send card security codes, account passwords, or unnecessary sensitive information by email.

LeBijou operates from Ukraine. Providing international orders and using third-party services may involve processing information in Ukraine and other countries, depending on the relevant provider and service. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from the laws where you live.

10

Depending on your location and the laws applicable to our business, you may have rights to access, obtain a copy of, correct, or delete personal information; restrict or object to certain processing; withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; or opt out of certain advertising-related disclosures.

Where applicable, these rights may include opting out of the sale or sharing of personal information or processing for targeted advertising.
